You know how life-changing
your work can be.
So instead of focusing on what inspires you - your mind is spinning with questions about how to get new clients. Whether you should be on social media. Whether you should brave the world of networking events.
Whether you have what it takes to really do this.
You've spent years developing your skills and your understanding of bodies, minds, trauma, emotions.
You love what you do.
But no one taught you how to build a business.
You've spent years developing your skills and your understanding of bodies, minds, trauma, emotions.
You love what you do.
More often than not, you’re left to figure things out on your own - especially finding clients, making sense of all the online platforms and working out where to put your time, money and energy.
And while there are courses out there that claim to teach more authentic marketing for therapists, a lot of them still rely on strategies that feel uncomfortable - urgency, comparison, or pushing people to say yes.
So, what’s the alternative? Where do you start?
Hi, I'm Sara Hammond.
I was in the same position after qualifying: excited to get things off the ground, but winging it when it came to all the different aspects of being self-employed - especially marketing.
I was taking bits of advice from here and there, assuming that if everyone else was doing something, I should be doing it too. But I hated the thought of self-promotion and sales tactics - they felt totally at odds with being a therapist.
My journey from that point, to running a full-time practice for over 15 years, meant discarding a lot of frankly terrible advice about how to fill those appointment slots.
Today, I teach self-employed therapists the practical steps to build a fully-booked practice, using an approach based on building trust, building relationships and building a reputation.
without really knowing what to post, when to post, or whether it’s helping
then feeling deflated when enquiries don’t come
that promise credibility and traffic, but don’t lead to many real clients
and starting to feel resentful about how much you’re giving away
(like posts, profiles, tweaks) without a clear sense of what’s actually moving the needle
to promote yourself, but not knowing what that actually means in practice
It usually just means you’ve been trying to build a practice without the right support.
The good news?
There's a way to do this that's effective, and that doesn't require you to be online 24/7 or to become someone you’re not.
"It's down-to-earth, clear, guides you towards self discovery, and answers the questions you did not know you wanted to ask! It's a guide for designing your best self as a therapist, and developing your best (and profitable) professional practice.
"This is the course that I wish existed when I was beginning my career as a therapist and then a yoga teacher."
Your complete training and action plan to create the ripple effect of trust & professionalism that lead to a thriving practice.
I’m sharing the real systems, steps, and principles I used to build a fully booked practice - so you have a clear, ethical pathway to build your own, with or without social media.
All in AN 8-MODULE online programme
combined with extra support and resources.
I’m sharing the real systems, steps, and principles I used to build a fully booked practice - so you have a clear, ethical pathway to build your own,
with or without social media.
Part One:
Foundations
Set up the foundations of a professional therapy practice, from policies and paperwork to payments, records and day-to-day systems.
Start with a clear vision, move past the beliefs that keep you stuck, and set the boundaries that will protect your time, energy and peace.
Learn how to stand out in a sea of similar sounding therapies, including what makes you and your services different from every other practitioner out there.
Part Two: Running Your Practice
Create an experience that keeps clients coming back, with a well-designed first consultation, thoughtful follow-up, well-structured offers and clear options for ongoing work.
Create a website that feels calm and professional, showcases your expertise, and makes it easy and intuitive for new clients to book in with you.
Help the right clients find you and understand your work without doing anything that feels forced, salesy, or out of step with your values.
Encourage word-of-mouth recommendations from your clients, and create genuine, reciprocal referral relationships with other professionals.
Become known as the go-to person in your community for how you work, who you help, and what you stand for, and grow your reputation and your reach with a powerful message.
Part Three:
Relationships & Reputation
"Pathway to a Full Practice inspired me to really take charge of the ‘marketing’ side of my practice. Instead of wasting energy constantly feeling bad about the stuff I wasn’t doing, I became organised and disciplined. I developed a Signature Programme which I have just launched, using all the advice from this module. This course is continuing to support me both personally and professionally and I highly recommend it."
"I am on my way to being fully booked and thinking about needing a waiting list soon!"
Everything is laid out clearly for you. When you log into the course, you’ll find all the materials and support you need in one place.
Pathway to a Full Practice is a 3-month online programme combining self-paced learning with live, small-group mentorship and plenty of resources to help you move forward.
Each module includes clear, step-by-step video lessons, with simple exercises and practical action steps you can work through in your own time.
Done-for-you templates, editable scripts, ready-made forms, policies and emails - so you're not starting from scratch.
Have extra questions or need a bit of encouragement? You can email at any point during the programme and receive a friendly, caring response.
You’ll have lifetime access to all course materials, and that includes any future updates and additions to the programme.
Live small-group sessions via Zoom are a space to bring your questions and experiences, and receive thoughtful, personalised feedback for your practice.
"Amazing value for money and the warm, encouraging support from Sara hits the spot every time"
"I have been self-employed as a therapist for 12 years and run a fairly successful practice but I've always thought something was missing. I have gained so much knowledge of client-centred, ethical marketing, website design and honing my processes. On top of that, I've learned so much about what has been holding me back from having a successful practice."
"The best investment I ever made in my peace of mind and business."
"Don't hesitate to sign up. Sara is the most generous human I know.
"As soon as I followed the steps, my client rebooked, as well as referring a friend to see me."
"The advice Sara gives is so simple and clear, it works and it just feels like being a caring practitioner.

It’s built around the realities of self-employed therapeutic work, including the emotional and practical challenges - and the particular discomfort many therapists feel around visibility and marketing.
Learn an approach to visibility and growth that’s based on therapeutic values, prioritising trust, safety, and informed choice.
Learn meaningful ways to become known and trusted in your community, whether or not social media feels like a good fit for you. This programme doesn’t rely on algorithms, trends, or constant online presence.
Rather than focusing on one piece in isolation, we look at practice-building as an integrated whole - from self-belief and boundaries, to systems, skills, reputation, and sustainable growth.
You'll be part of a thoughtful, supportive learning experience where you’re encouraged to move at a human pace.
"I had a lot of limiting beliefs around my ability to make a living from my work. I am approaching my practice with a renewed confidence and clarity that is far beyond what I could have reasonably expected. I wish that I'd done Pathway to a Full Practice while I was in training - I feel that it has been the missing piece of the jigsaw. If you're craving the support of someone wise to guide you, I don't think you could find anyone better than Sara Hammond."
"I've gone from feeling fearful about promoting myself to running sell-out workshops"
don't miss out
